Do2Learn specializes in visual resources for parents and teachers to educate children about daily living skills, reading emotions and preparing for new activities. Do2Learn sells access to a full color version of their “Make a Schedule” product accessible via the website, but chooses to share a portion of their visuals that can be printed for free in a black and white version.
In order to find the free printable graphics of morning activities, parents and teachers must visit the website and hold the mouse on top of the block that reads “Picture Cards” located on the top bar of the Do2Learn website homepage. Although Super Nanny refers to the “Get Up and Go Chart" as a reward chart, parents can fore go the rewards and use the visual schedule simply as a morning routine chart. Some child development experts believe that routine charts that teach life skills work better long term than reward charts that focus children mainly on the reward.
Picture schedules are best for preschoolers and pre-readers to help them learn the steps of a morning or bedtime routine. The free parenting resources above will guide preschool children along their morning activities as well as teach children to be more independent.
