Free Printable Morning Routine Chart from Super Nanny

A “Get Up and Go Chart" is available at the Super Nanny website, but parents must first fill out a registration form in order to access the free printouts. Parents can choose from black and white or color graphics of the morning tasks “wash face”, “brush teeth”, “get dressed” and “make bed”.

Although Super Nanny refers to the “Get Up and Go Chart" as a reward chart, parents can fore go the rewards and use the visual schedule simply as a morning routine chart. Some child development experts believe that routine charts that teach life skills work better long term than reward charts that focus children mainly on the reward.

Picture schedules are best for preschoolers and pre-readers to help them learn the steps of a morning or bedtime routine. The free parenting resources above will guide preschool children along their morning activities as well as teach children to be more independent.
